This infographic from SEVP (Student and Exchange Visitor Program) and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement displays the top U.S. states of study for F1 and M1 Indian students. A color-coded map highlights six states with the highest concentrations of Indian students, with California leading at 18,212 students. The data visualizes geographic distribution of Indian student enrollment across the United States.

The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) released “SEVIS by the Numbers,” a quarterly report of international students studying in the United States. The October 2014 report is based on data from the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), a Web-based system that includes information on international students, exchange visitors and their dependents while they are in the United States. It includes a special section on international students from India.
