United States destroyer veterans Fireman Thomas Jost, former crew member of USS Mitscher( DO 2) and Radioman 1st Class Richard Houston, former crewmember of USS Hank (DD 702) wore their original dungarees to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum reception for the parade of ships during Fleet Week 2009. Approximately 3,000 Sailors, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen will participate in the 22nd commemoration of Fleet Week New York City 2009. This event will provide the citizens of New York City and the surrounding tri-state area an opportunity to meet service members and also see the latest capabilities of today's maritime services.
