A team of five U.S. Soldiers assigned to 2nd Squadron, 38th Cavalry Regiment prepares to be hoisted on a fast rope line during training at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo, July 18, 2014. The Soldiers were participating in SPIES and FRIES training, which is the fast-rope insertion and extraction system (FRIES), and is employed by small units to make rapid infiltration and exfiltration using rotary-wing aircraft in confined areas.
