Soldiers with 2nd Squadron, 38th Cavalry Regiment, 504th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade, are inspected a final time before being hoisted in the air by a hovering helicopter at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo, July 18. The Soldiers were participating in SPIES and FRIES training, where the fast-rope insertion and extraction system is employed by small units to make rapid infiltration and exfiltration using rotary-wing aircraft in confined areas.
