Lt. Cmdr. Charlie Summers and Lt. Cmdr. John Spicer were joined by the reigning queen of the Food Network and best-selling cookbook author Paula Deen during their visit to the Today show as part of the Fleet Week events after her food demonstration. Approximately 3,000 Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen will participate in the 22nd commemoration of Fleet Week New York City 2009. This event will provide the citizens of New York City and the surrounding tri-state area an opportunity to meet service members and also the latest capabilities of today's maritime services.
