A sign in front of Food Service Company, Combat Logistics Regiment 27, 2nd Marine Logistics Group mess tent welcomes Marines and sailors before they experience the competing dishes at a field mess site during the W.P.T. Hill Award competition aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., March 10, 2014. The Marines prepared shepherd’s pie, white beans and chicken chili, and grilled steak for the main entrées. Side choices were rice, cornbread, baked potatoes and biscuits. A separate fruit and salad bar was set up as well.
