JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Navy Reserve Region Readiness and Mobilization Command, Jacksonville (REDCOM JAX) held a change of command ceremony at Naval Air Station Jacksonville on May 15, 2025.
Captain Nathan E. Rodenbarger relieved Captain Todd M. Bruemer as the REDCOM JAX commander.

Over 86 Sailors and their family members participated in Navy Reserve Region Readiness and Mobilization Command (REDCOM) Jacksonville’s 38th Returning Warrior Workshop (RWW) hosted in Nashville, Tennessee, April 21-23, 2023. Returning Warrior Workshops are a component of the Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program (YRRP) designed to honor service members and their families.
Onlookers stand as they witness feet march and guns flip in unison, while flags are presented to the crowd. Whether present during the Navy’s most prestigious ceremonies, sporting events or other commemorative gatherings, the local community often gets the privilege to witness the Navy’s prized flag’s presented with precision and professionalism by one of the best color guard teams in the Navy Reserve.
