Members of the Chièvres Air Base community gathered Sept. 11, 2026, for a 9/11 memorial ceremony and Patriot Run, Walk and Ruck in remembrance of the lives lost during the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. The event marked 25 years since the attacks and brought service members, families and community members together to honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost, recognize the courage of first responders and remember the sacrifices made in the years that followed.
