で行われた「大人のための英会話クラス」表彰/修了式の前に、修了証にサインをするキャンプ・シュワブ司令官のエリック・T・クラーク大佐。 「大人のための英会話クラス」は、キャンプ・シュワブで週1回、夕方に開催された。今年は42人の地域住民が参加し、26人が修了式に出席した。キャンプ・シュワブ渉外官伊波文雄氏によると、このプログラムは周辺地区の人々が英語に慣れ親しみ、最終的には基地内での就職に役立てば

1851年、イギリス人彫刻家フレデリック・スコット・アーチャー（1813~1857）が、湿式コロジオン法を発明する。沃化物を分散させたコロジオンを塗布したガラス板を感光剤の硝酸銀溶液に浸し、湿っているうちに撮影するという方法で、撮影後、すぐさま硝酸第一鉄溶液で現像する必要があった。そして次にシアン化カリウム溶液で定着させると、ガラス板のネガが完成する。
