During exercise Adamant Serpent 26, Air Commandos from the 352d Special Operations Wing integrate and operate with NATO partners, enhancing interoperability across the challenging arctic and sub-arctic environments in the High North.
The 352d SOW performs operations with CV-22B Ospreys and MC-130J Commando IIs for the duration of the exercise.
“Our mission while here participating in Exercise Adamant Serpent is to work with our Norwegian and Swedish partners to integrate air and land movements in order to maximize our efficiency as a combined headquarters while also training for future operations,” said the Special Operations Task Group commander for exercise Adamant Serpent 26.
Throughout the exercise, U.S. Special Operation Forces and NATO Allies train together to refine tactics, techniques, and procedures, improving their warfighting readiness, tactical proficiency, and integration.
“We are looking to solidify our processes, implement good practices, and then by the end of the exercise, have an efficient headquarters that can process multiple air requests in an efficient manner from multiple countries allowing for flexibility and efficient employment of our forces throughout U.S. European Command,” said the Adamant Serpent 26 Special Operations Task Group commander.
Working side-by-side, Allied nations participating in exercise Adamant Serpent demonstrate shared values, experience, trust, and a vision for a secure and prosperous NATO Alliance.
“We continue to build our strategic partnerships with our NATO allies, multiplying our abilities and increasing our capabilities allowing our partnership to respond to any problem, anytime,” said the Adamant Serpent 26 Special Operations Task Group commander.
