(Sept. 16, 2026) Master Chief Master-at-Arms Jeffrey Harris, the Navy senior enlisted advisor for Marine Corps Security Force Battalion (MCSFBn) Kings Bay, places a chief combination cover on Sergeant Major Cory Daly, MCSFBn's senior enlisted leader, during a Chief Petty Officer pinning ceremony at MCSFBn Headquarters on Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Ga., Sept. 16, 2026. During the ceremony, Daly and 1st Sgt. Brandon Andrade joined four U.S. Navy Sailors in receiving their gold CPO anchor collar devices, marking their honorary induction into the Chiefs Mess. Established on April 1, 1893, the rank of Chief Petty Officer represents a legacy of deckplate leadership, with the pinning ceremony marking the culmination of a six-week initiation of physical and leadership training.
