    U.S. Army Lt. Col. Droesch, commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, examines a water channel at Lucky Peak Dam, Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026. The tour included a review of the dam’s infrastructure related to water management and environmental stewardship. During this site visit Lt. Col. Droesch met with numerous state and federal partners in the area surrounding Boise, Idaho.
