A worker is operating equipment on a US Army Corps of Engineers 'Juvenile Fish Transportation' truck or tanker vehicle. The man is standing on the side of the large specialized transport unit, appearing to manage connections or controls. The setting appears to be a fish facility or dam infrastructure site.

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Maintenance Worker Keith Pommerening works atop a juvenile fish transport truck during the loading process at a Snake River dam, Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2026. The Corps' transportation program is a key component of its multi-faceted approach to protecting endangered species and ensuring their safe passage to the ocean.

Keith monitors the loading of the juvenile fish at the Lower Granite fish facility before continuing on to Little Goose Lock and Dam to finish loading the transport truck. After the vehicle is loaded he will transport the species down river to Bonneville Dam to be released.
