    U.S. Army Pfc. Rothaniel Leveque, a military police officer assigned to the 603rd Military Police Company, 109th Military Police Battalion, recites the Soldier’s Creed during the board portion of the 603rd Dark Knight competition at Ādaži Military Base, Latvia, Sept. 11, 2026. The competition united six teams of three soldiers each from the 603rd’s numerous duty locations across Europe to compete in a week of various challenges meant to test their proficiency in standard Soldier tasks and drills. V Corps is the U.S. Army's only forward-deployed corps, serving as the senior tactical headquarters for Army forces in Eastern Europe to deter conflict and provide combat-ready forces alongside our NATO allies. V Corps is operationalizing and expanding the Eastern Flank Deterrence Initiative with Allies, rapidly integrating emerging technologies into training and tactical plans.
