U.S. Air Force Capt. Bryon Townsend assumed command of the 187th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (AMXS) from outgoing commander Maj. Brent Ivey, during a change of command ceremony. Townsend addressed his new squadron by stating that he is proud to be selected to lead the 187th AMXS. "Thank you for trusting me with the responsibility of being your commander.
