    U.S. Army Soldiers march in a parade towards the World Trade Center Memorial on September 11, 2026 in New York City as a part of New York City's 25th Anniversary Commemoration of the 9/11 attacks at the World Trade Center.

    Soldiers from the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) visited New York City, Sept.11, 2026, to honor the civilians and first responders who were lost during the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. They participated in ceremonies honoring the fallen firefighters, those who perished during the attacks and from 9/11 related illnesses in the following years, and service members who lost their lives in support of the Global War on Terrorism.
