    I Marine Expeditionary Force

    U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Carlos Gonzalez, a helicopter door gunner with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 169, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, observes the landing zone during forward arming and refueling point training with a Landing Craft Air Cushion with Assault Craft Unit 5, Naval Beach Group 1, Expeditionary Strike Group 3, at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Sept. 9, 2026.
