This statue of the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers is made from steel recovered from the site. The plaque reads, “A Place of Reflection. In honor of all who have served our country. You are not forgotten. WTC steel donated by the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation.” The sculpture was displayed at Walter Reed Army Medical Center until it closed in 2011.
