    Generating Unit 1, foreground, stands among the six generating units inside the powerhouse at Ice Harbor Lock and Dam near Burbank, Washington, Aug. 27. Unit 1 is one of three original units modernized with new turbines designed to improve fish passage while maintaining efficient hydropower generation. Together, Ice Harbor’s six generating units provide 603 megawatts of generating capacity, supporting the reliable hydropower mission of the multipurpose project on the lower Snake River.
