Soldiers and families of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 191st Regional Support Group, gathered Aug. 29, 2026, at the Ponce Hilton for a Yellow Ribbon event focused on family readiness, resilience, and strengthening the support network for Soldiers and their loved ones.
Senior Enlisted Advisor Sgt. Maj. Reynaldo Soto addressed Soldiers and families on the importance of serving in the Puerto Rico National Guard, emphasizing the pride, commitment, and responsibility that come with serving the people of Puerto Rico and contributing to the force's readiness.
The event also featured multiple veteran and Soldier care, education, and service providers. Representatives staffed informational booths and provided Soldiers and their families with guidance on benefits, educational opportunities, family support programs, and other resources available to the military community.
The Yellow Ribbon event reinforced the 191st RSG's commitment to keeping Soldiers and families informed, connected, and prepared throughout the deployment cycle.
