Soldiers and families of the 191st Regional Support Group gathered Aug. 29, 2026, at the Ponce Hilton for a Yellow Ribbon event focused on strengthening family readiness, building resilience, and providing resources to support Soldiers throughout the deployment cycle.
The event brought together Soldiers, family members, leaders, and support agencies for informational sessions, discussions, and activities designed to help families stay connected, informed, and prepared.
A special moment during the event featured 1st Lt. Krystal Rivera and her parents placing her daughter’s ribbon on the white tree, which displayed ribbons bearing the names of 191st RSG HHC Soldiers. The tribute symbolized the connection between Soldiers, their families, and the support that strengthens the unit.
Yellow Ribbon events provide Soldiers and their families with valuable resources and opportunities to build the knowledge and support networks needed before, during, and after military service.
