    U.S. Army V Corps

    U.S. Army Cpl. Dayanara Alvarado, a small arms and towed artillery repairer assigned to the 16th Engineer Battalion, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, engages a drone using a Dronebuster device during a counter-unmanned aerial system training exercise at PabradÄ— Training Area, Lithuania, Aug. 27, 2026. The training is conducted monthly with U.S. Army Soldiers from the rotational forces stationed on the base in order to familiarize them with the system and increase capabilities to engage and defeat UAS threats. V Corps is the U.S. Army's only forward-deployed corps, serving as the senior tactical headquarters for Army forces in Eastern Europe to deter conflict and provide combat-ready forces alongside our NATO allies. V Corps is operationalizing and expanding the Eastern Flank Deterrence Initiative with Allies, rapidly integrating emerging technologies into training and tactical plans.
