    U.S. Marine Corps Pfc. Jonathan Vanklompenberg, a rifleman assigned to 3rd Littoral Combat Team, 3rd Marine Littoral Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, uses a compass to locate a checkpoint for a land navigation exercise during a dry-fire basic skills training event at Marine Corps Training Area Bellows, Hawaii, Aug. 25, 2026.
