    U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. David Cavazos, a team leader assigned to 3rd Littoral Combat Team, 3rd Marine Littoral Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, tests a compass before a land navigation exercise during a dry-fire basic skills training event at Marine Corps Training Area Bellows, Hawaii, Aug. 25, 2026.
