    U.S. Marines assigned to 3rd Littoral Combat Team, 3rd Marine Littoral Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, begin a land navigation exercise during a dry-fire basic skills training event at Marine Corps Training Area Bellows, Hawaii, Aug. 25, 2026. The Marines conducted comprehensive training designed to sharpen their proficiency in land navigation, military operations in urban terrain, and force-on-force engagements. The training allowed the Marines to apply tactical skills in realistic scenarios, enhancing their ability to operate effectively in complex environments and maintain combat readiness.
