Sgt. Laine A. Czaikowski placed first, Sgt. 1st Class Logan T. Weir placed second, and Sgt. Damon B. Ryan took third place in the heavyweight division of the Illinois Army National Guard’s Modern Army Combatives Tournament, Aug. 22-23, at American Jujitsu in Springfield, Ill. Czaikowski is with the 2nd Battalion, 130th Infantry Regiment and is a traveling millwright for the Kelly Group in Decatur.
