A contractor from Hornback Offshore Services secures a light medium tactical vehicle to the deck of the HOS Resolution during an autonomous vessel capabilities demonstration at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Aug. 17, 2026. The demonstration gave Army mariners the opportunity to see and test the semi-autonomous vessel, and gain insight on autonomous maritime capabilities within the Indo-pacific area of responsibility.
