U.S. Army combat engineers, assigned to the 70th Clearance Company, 84th Engineer Battalion, 130th Engineer Brigade, 8th Theater Sustainment Command, maneuver vehicles aboard the deck of the HOS Resolution to secure during an autonomous vessel capabilities demonstration at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Aug. 17, 2026. The demonstration gave Army mariners the opportunity to see and test the semi-autonomous vessel, and gain insight on autonomous maritime capabilities within the Indo-pacific area of responsibility.
