COL Kenneth C. Lutz, former commander of the 6th Medical Recruiting Battalion, was selected by The Surgeon General to receive the Army Medical Department's 9A Proficiency Designator. COL Lutz commanded the battalion from 2018 to 2020 and currently serves as the commander of the 531st Hospital Center.
