    First Army

    Capt. Tallon Pauley and Sgt. 1st Class Rice, both assigned to 5th Armored Brigade, First Army, review the task, conditions and standards for the upcoming Best Observer Coach/Trainer events during the in‑brief at McGregor Range, N.M., Aug. 21, 2026.     Observer Coach/Trainers (OC/Ts) are the Army’s premier master trainers, professionals who sharpen the Nation’s warfighting advantage to a razor’s edge. Their work ensures that Army Reserve and National Guard Soldiers embody precision, lethality, discipline, and a warrior mindset. The Gen. John J.
