    Capability Program Executive Simulation, Training, Test and Threat

    Chris Brewer, incoming Product Director Virtual Training Systems (PdD VTS), delivers his remarks during a relinquishment and change of charter ceremony for PdD VTS in Orlando, Florida, on Aug. 14, 2026. Brewer received the new PdD VTS charter from Clifton Boyd, Project Manager Force Projection (PM Force Protection), under Capability Program Executive Combat Sustainment. PdD VTS traces its origins back to 1978 when it was chartered as Product Manager Armor Training Devices under Project Manager Training Devices (PM TRADE). Prior to Brewer receiving the charter, operational control of PdD VTS was transferred from PM TRADE to PM Force Projection under Capability Program Executive Combat Sustainment. Administrative control of PdD VTS will remain under PM TRADE and Capability Program Executive Simulation, Training, Test and Threat until Oct. 1, 2026, to ensure continuity of personnel, resources and organizational support.
