TUMON, Guam (Aug. 4, 2026) – U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Brett Mietus, far right, commander, Joint Region Marianas, joins Government of Guam officials, local business leaders and Pacific port stakeholders during the 112th Association of Pacific Ports Annual Conference at the Hyatt Regency Hotel Guam, Aug. 4.
The conference provides a forum for maritime leaders and stakeholders to strengthen partnerships, exchange best practices and advance resilient port systems that support communities, commerce and security throughout the Pacific.
The Association of Pacific Ports (APP) is a trade and information association founded in 1913 as the Pacific Coast Association of Port Authorities (PCAPA) for the purpose of promoting increased efficiency and effectiveness of the ports of the Pacific.
