Military personnel are conducting a tactical combat casualty care (TCCC) training exercise in a wooded outdoor environment. One soldier is lying on the ground in a simulated casualty role while another soldier kneels over them applying what appears to be a chest seal or vented chest dressing to the torso area. The scene includes military equipment and weapons visible in the background, consistent with a field training exercise.

U.S. Army Reserve Sgt. Mason Roache, of 100th Battalion, 442nd Infantry Regiment, demonstrates proper application of chest seal on Spc. Leonardo Gonzales to Tentara Nasional Indonesia–Angkatan Darat (TNI-AD) soldiers as part of interoperability exchange during Live Training Exercise (LTX) of Exercise Ksatria Warrior 2026 (KW26) at Baturaja Combat Training Center, Indonesia, Aug. 16. KW26 is the second iteration of the bilateral Army-to-Army military exercise between U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) and TNI-AD forces. Chest seals are used to treat open chest wounds by preventing air from entering the chest cavity, allowing U.S. Army Soldiers to exchange lifesaving combat casualty care techniques with TNI-AD.
