    U.S. Army Reserve Sgt. Mason Roache, of 100th Battalion, 442nd Infantry Regiment, demonstrates nasotracheal intubation on Sgt. Barkley Perry to Tentara Nasional Indonesia–Angkatan Darat (TNI-AD) soldiers as part of interoperability exchange during Live Training Exercise (LTX) of Exercise Ksatria Warrior 2026 (KW26) at Baturaja Combat Training Center, Indonesia, Aug. 16. KW26 is the second iteration of the bilateral Army-to-Army military exercise between U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) and TNI-AD forces. Operation is focused on building long-lasting partnerships, expanding bilateral interoperability, and increasing unit readiness. Nasotracheal intubation is an airway management technique used to help maintain oxygen flow in patients experiencing respiratory distress, providing TNI-AD soldiers with a chance to develop medical knowledge and building interoperability with U.S. Army Soldiers.
