Petty Officer 1st Class Liam Joyner is a 26-year-old missile technician from Milford, New Hampshire, who has only been with the Naval Ordnance Test Unit for a little more than two years. But he’s made quite an impression in that short amount of time. At NOTU, supervises, coordinates, and deconflicts RF maintenance operations and is responsible for a division of 18 Sailors. On mission deployments, he supervises the conversion of Trident II D5 missiles to prepare for them for test missile launches.
Joyner has been in the Navy for seven years and prior to NOTU, he worked aboard the USS Alaska (SSBN 732-Blue). When not at work, Joyner likes fishing and spending time with his French Bulldog, Tito. His future goals include attending law school and eventually become a practicing attorney.
