Petty Officer 2nd Class Olegario Sanchez is a 26-year-old electronics technician (navigation) from Eagle Pass, Texas, who has been with the Naval Ordnance Test Unit for a little more than eight months. At NOTU, he is responsible for range safety items during Follow-on Commander’s Evaluation Test operations.
Sanchez has been in the Navy for five years and prior to NOTU, he worked aboard the USS Key West (SSBN 722). When not at work, Cohran likes online gaming, collecting cards, visiting the shooting range, and “eating delicious foods.”
Sanchez plans to make the Navy a career and retire sometime after achieving 20 years of service.
