A U.S. Army Soldier assigned to 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) fires a SIG Sauer MCX-Rattler LT while advancing toward a target in preparation for a critical task evaluation during a special reconnaissance program of instruction (POI) at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, July 31, 2026. The POI developed reconnaissance skills to improve situational awareness and support operational decision-making.
