Charlie Masange, Director of the Morobe Provincial Disaster Centre, makes way to deliver a speech for the opening of the Center for Excellence in Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance (CFE-DMHA) Field Training Exercise, Aug. 11, 2026 Lae, Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea. Participants will receive instruction in search and extraction, oil spill response, medical response, site security, and camp management before taking part in a hands-on scenario designed to test the skills and procedures developed throughout the training.
