The competition coincided with Croatia’s Victory Day on Aug. 5, which commemorates the Croatian War of Independence. The three-day competition reinforced the interoperability and readiness of the NATO FLF Battle Group along the alliance’s eastern flank, while giving troops an opportunity to enjoy themselves and strengthen esprit de corps.
