Tara Johnson, an administrator of health services management, covers Airman 1st Class Mya Varghese, an aerospace medical technician, both with the 127th Medical Group, with a hypothermia prevention blanket during Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Level II training at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan, Aug. 2, 2026. The training provided Level II TCCC instruction to 127th Medical Group personnel outside the aerospace medical technician career field while fellow Airmen served as simulated casualties, ensuring medical personnel are prepared to deliver lifesaving care in austere and combat environments.
