JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii — Lt. Cmdr. Ben Paddock, chief engineer of the Arleigh Burke class guided-missile destroyer USS Daniel Inouye (DDG 118), provides a tour of the ship’s forecastle for members of the Navy League of the United States Honolulu Council, July 30, 2026. Daniel Inouye Sailors hosted the visit as part of the Navy Region Hawaii and Naval Surface Group Middle Pacific shipboard tour program, which provides local civic, military and school groups the opportunity to visit U.S. Navy ships and learn about the important role they conduct to maintain readiness and ensure national security in U.S. Pacific Fleet region.
