Kirk Jansen, the deputy of public works for MCB Quantico, during his retirement ceremony at Little Hall on MCB Quantico, Virginia, July 29, 2026. Jansen retired after completing a total of 44 years of dedicated service to the Marine Corps. During the ceremony, he was recognized for his efforts in fostering a culture of professionalism and innovation, and was presented with the Meritorious Civilian Service Award, the Secretary of the Navy Award and a retirement certificate.
