David Schwartz, assigned to the 358th Civil Affairs Brigade, performs a nasopharyngeal airway insertion on a member of the 1st Parachute Commando Battalion during training for Exercise Tiger Lightning 2026 on July 23, 2026. The training was conducted by subject matter experts from 807th Theater Medical Command and was designed to ensure partners from both nations are able to keep casualties breathing in combat. Tiger Lightning is an annual U.S. / Bangladesh bilateral exercise to support the USARPAC Theater Army Campaign Plan (TCAP) and security cooperation plan objectives to enhance professional relationships, military operations, readiness, and interoperability between U.S. and Bangladesh Army formations.
