YOKOSUKA, Japan (July 16, 2026) – Local high school students pose for a group photo with Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) Public Works Department Yokosuka staff in front of an installation construction site during the Teen Career Showcase. The showcase was hosted by CFAY Child and Youth Programs to offer base youth an interactive, behind-the-scenes perspective on daily civil engineering and facilities operations. CFAY provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and more than 27,000 military and civilian personnel and their families.
