YOKOSUKA, Japan (July 16, 2026) – Musicians assigned to the U.S. 7th Fleet Band speak with local high school students during a question-and-answer session in the Fleet Theater during the Teen Career Showcase. The session, organized by Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) Child and Youth Programs, gave students a firsthand look at the professional standards, musical training, and career paths available within the Navy music program. Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and more than 27,000 military and civilian personnel and their families.
