Civilian contractors unload soil from a dump truck near HESCO barriers in National Defense Area 2 near Fort Hancock, Texas, July 20, 2026. The soil is staged for transfer into the HESCO barrier cells as construction crews continue reinforcing the barrier system along the U.S. southern border.
