U.S. Army Spc. Clayton Foster, a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter repairer assigned to the 3rd Assault Helicopter Battalion, 1st Aviation Regiment, 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, holds a belt of linked 7.62 mm ammunition ahead of an aerial gunnery qualification at Lielvārde Air Base, Latvia, July 14, 2026. A single belt links dozens of rounds end to end to feed the M240H machine gun, the pintle-mounted weapon crews fire from the helicopter during the qualification.
