After Super Typhoons Sinlaku and Bavi, the residents of Rota, Northern Marians Islands have been without power for a week. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Temporary Power Team, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), contractors and other agencies have coordinated to ship generators to the island to restore essential power for life support functions.
