NEW YORK HARBOR, New York - The Chilean tallship Esmeralda sails in the International Naval Review 250 (INR250) Parade of Sail in New York, July 4, 2026. A 371-foot, steel-hulled, four-masted barquentine operated by the Chilean Navy, Esmeralda serves as a sail training vessel for naval cadets and an international ambassador of goodwill. For 250 years, the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps stood the watch – constant, unabated in mission, faithfully preventing crisis and resolute in defending America’s independence.
