Marine Corps 2nd Lt. Mike Wisotzkey, Alpha Company, 9th Engineer Support Battalion, recites the citation for Medal of Honor recipient Marine Corps 1st Lt. Alexander Bonnyman Jr. inside the entrance to the World War II bunker where Bonnyman died in combat November 22, 1943. Working at the invitation of each host nation, U.S. Navy forces are joined by non-governmental organizations and regional partners that include Australia, Canada, Colombia, France, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, and New Zealand to improve maritime security, conduct humanitarian assistance and strengthen disaster-response preparedness , during Pacific Partnership 2013.
